About Washington County Court Records

Court records in Washington County live across several offices: the Prothonotary for civil and family filings, the Clerk of Courts for criminal files, the Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court for estates and marriage records, and statewide portals for many public docket sheets. Finding the right office first saves time, especially because C-Track, UJS Case Search, and courthouse terminals do not cover the same records.

Why We Built This Site

Pennsylvania gives the public broad access to many court records, but Washington County records are split by court level and filing office. Civil actions, judgments, and divorce files route through the Prothonotary. Criminal Court of Common Pleas files route through the Clerk of Courts. Estates, guardianships, adoptions, and marriage licenses involve the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court. Magisterial District Court dockets, criminal dockets, and traffic citations are searched through the Pennsylvania UJS portal, while civil and estate access often starts with C-Track or a public terminal.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to the Washington County Court of Common Pleas, any Magisterial District Court, the Prothonotary, the Clerk of Courts, the Register of Wills, the Sheriff's Office, or any Pennsylvania agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
